Tips and Hows

Considering that everyone has different tastes and you might want to adapt the flavors or dish to suit your family’s liking, here are some tips to improvise your cooking and recipe making

  1. Acidic ingredients such as lemon or lime juice, vinegar,  tomatoes, and even pineapple will all help neutralize the pH levels of a spicy oil.
  2. Cut down some of the fiery taste.Toss half a lemon or lime wedge, or tomatoes into your over-spiked dish
  3. When you add a starch like potatoes, it can help soak up some of that extra spice. The almost miraculous absorbentpower of the potato can kill some of the fire pretty
  1. It’sas easy as just letting your curry simmer for a good few minutes and then leaving the heat on to do all the work for you! Cooking with no lid will result in a greater amount of water being evaporated
  2. Adding a bit of ground coconut or coconut milk has two advantages. First, it may thicken the sauce, and second, it gives a milder taste to it with loads of coconut aroma. A few spoonfuls of coconut milk would result in thicker and a smoother texture.
  3. A few spoons of yogurt to the dish while it’s simmering could help thicken it as well as give it a slight tang.
  4. Adding ground nuts like peanuts, almonds or cashews could also help thicken curry sauces.
  5. Adding mashed or softened boiled potatoes to your curries could help thicken and add some bulk to them.
  1. Cooking the chicken ata low temperature is always best. Once the flavors from the ingredients are coming through, cook the chicken at medium-low temperature
  2. For seafood tocook evenly and prevent tissue from drying out during cooking, it requires higher temperatures and shorter cooking times than meat. Add the fish only 10 minutes before you switch off the stove.
